Journal Descriptions

Marriage & Family Review publishes a mix of open submission articles as well as thematic issues that bring together the most current research, practical application, and theoretical advances, across the interdisciplinary field of family science. Marriage & Family Review welcomes submissions from international scholars. MFR Is especially interested in manuscripts that focus on familial or relational processes and provide comprehensive reviews of families in a given global region. Additionally, the journal will also consider for publication systematic reviews, primary studies, brief reports, and commentaries on previously published family science articles (with priority given to articles previously published in Marriage & Family Review). Rebuttals to any such comments are also welcomed. A new aim of Marriage & Family Review will be the State of Families reports, which are comprehensive reports on the conditional state of families in a defined geographic location.
