Journal Descriptions
MSILJ aims to promote inter-disciplinary and empirical discussions on diverse areas of law. It aims to integrates perspectives, theories, and methods from multiple disciplines, leading to a more holistic understanding of complex issues in law. Such collaboration often leads to breakthroughs that might not emerge within the confines of a single discipline. MSILJ aims to encourage established and emerging scholars to develop new knowledge and perspectives on developing legal concerns and to bridge the gap between the domains of academia and practice. MSILJ subscribes to an expansive view of “law and society” and seeks to publish scholarly work that goes beyond looking at the law as merely a set of rules and doctrines. We invite articles from diverse disciplines and areas of study that engage with the law.
