Médiévales (Médiévales)
Journal Descriptions
Médiévales publishes articles on all aspects of the Middle Ages: history, literature and linguistics, as well as law, archaeology and art history. Each issue includes a thematic dossier, often the result of a seminar or teamwork, coordinated by a specialist. Articles on a wide range of subjects are also published in the "Essays and Research" section. The "Point de vue" section offers cross-readings of a work or critical bulletins on current research themes. Reading notes on recent works accompany each issue. Founded in 1982, the biannual journal Médiévales publishes articles in French on all aspects of the Middle Ages: history, literature, and linguistics, as well as law, archaeology, and art history. Published by the Presses Universitaires de Vincennes, it welcomes original scientific contributions from established and emerging researchers. Each issue of Médiévales includes a major thematic dossier coordinated by a specialist and a series of sections covering current research.
