In this context, the ability of senior managers to understand the culture and dynamics of organizations and to deliver strong leadership during periods of transformation and change, could be the difference between organizational failure and success. The journal explores the practical application of leadership and organization development theory in order to identify its relevance for managerial practice. Leadership & Organization Development Journal (LODJ) focuses on the interpretation of research and how the results of research may be translated into practice. It addresses a broad range of topics which are relevant to organizations and reflective of societal developments. The journal supports interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary approaches to the study of leadership and organization development and encourages original thinking which will contribute to knowledge and understanding in these areas.
