Journal Descriptions

Labour and Industry is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes research offering a multi-disciplinary perspective on the social, organizational and institutional aspects of work and industrial relations. The aims of the journal are to encourage debate and the exchange of views between researchers, to challenge the conceptual boundaries of work and industrial relations, and to contribute to the generation of new ideas by drawing on insights from diverse disciplines. The journal encourages submissions from researchers reporting original and innovative research that contributes to the theory, practice and public policy dimensions of work and industrial relations. It encourages researchers to locate their contribution in the local context of a study, within the context of international debates, and in developments in the study of work and industrial relations. The journal also encourages research teams to submit proposals for themed Symposia on new streams of research that stand to make a significant contribution to research.
