L'Économie politique (LP)
Journal Descriptions
The primary goal of this journal is to foster public discussion on economic policies. It asks questions about the foundations of the economy as a social reality and as a discourse on society. It also publishes the work of specialists in other subjects insofar as they contribute to clarifying the workings of economics. The magazine: L'Économie Politique is published jointly by Alternatives Économiques and the Institut Veblen pour les réformes économiques, which is responsible for its editorial management. The magazine is a tool for economic, social and ecological debate. Published quarterly, its content is more in-depth, distanced from immediate news and resolutely focused on the political stakes of the economy. Its ambition: to stimulate public discussion on economic policies and bring the economic debate back to the citizen. L'Économie Politique gives voice to and stimulates dialogue between social players, academics, researchers and political leaders in France, Europe and the rest of the world. It examines the foundations of the economy as a social reality, but also as a discourse on society. And it does so without jargon, with a constant concern to link theories and realities, diagnoses and analyses, reflections and proposals.
