Founded in 1894 by Henry Beaunis and Alfred Binet, L'Année psychologique was one of the world's first journals devoted exclusively to scientific psychology. It publishes works from various sub-disciplines of cognitive psychology, including experimental psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, neuropsychology and the history of psychology. L'Année Psychologique/Topics in Cognitive Psychology is an international journal of basic psychological research. It publishes, in English and French, three categories of articles: Experimental articles: chosen for their novelty, theoretical interest and rigorous experimental approach.
