Kunst og Kultur (eatablished 1910) is Norway’s first journal for art history. The journal publishes the best from art-history research, written by leading art historians in Norway. The journal’s main emphasis is on pictorial art, architecture and design/handicraft, but it also contains topical debate and book reviews. The subjects may be international or Norwegian and span from old art to today’s art expression. Kunst og Kultur is directed to professionals, students and those generally interested in art. The journal is published by Scandinavian University Press in collaboration with the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design, and with the support of Nasjonalt tidsskriftkonsortium for humaniora og samfunnsvitenskap.
