The journal Childhood and Development sees itself as an interdisciplinary journal in which clinical child psychologists, child and adolescent psychiatrists and pediatricians have their say. The aim is to make results from developmental psychopathology, child behavior therapy and behavioral medicine known to a wide readership and at the same time provide assistance for clinical and educational practice. A special feature of the journal is that it offers current and practice-related special issues. The journal Childhood and Development (ISSN 0942-5403) has been published quarterly since 1992 and from 1995 by Hogrefe Verlag.
