Journal Descriptions

KIJHUS is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary journal that aims to publish cutting-edge research in the field of humanities and social sciences. The main aim of the KIU Interdisciplinary Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (KIJHUS) is to serve as a platform where scholars on the African continent and the world at large can disseminate findings in the broad field of humanities and social sciences. KIJHUS recognizes the fact that social, economic, cultural, and other factors greatly impact how individuals, societies, and communities respond to stimuli, and it is based on this understanding that the journal encourages submissions from an Afrocentric perspective. With this approach, the journal aims to address issues unique to the African reality and disseminate research that reflects on the outcomes of global research in a broad range of fields, but in a multidisciplinary way. KIJHUS publishes two issues a year, i.e., April-May and October-November. We accept papers only in English addressed to a regional, national or international audience.
