Journal Descriptions

Jung Journal: Culture & Psyche is an international quarterly published by the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco, one of the oldest institutions in America dedicated to Jungian studies and analytic training. Founded in 1979 by John Beebe under the title The San Francisco Jung Institute Library Journal, Jung Journal has evolved from a local journal of book and film reviews to one that attracts readers and contributors worldwide -- from the Academy, the arts, and from Jungian analyst-scholars. Jung Journal: Culture & Psyche is a peer reviewed journal in which articles that are submitted for publication are double anonymized peer reviewed, meaning that neither the reviewer nor the author is known to one another. Commentary that is submitted to the editor from the peer reviewers is synthesized and given to the author from the Editor of the journal under her name.
