The Journal of World-Systems Research (JWSR) is a peer-reviewed, fully open-access academic journal dedicated to the study of world-systems analysis and global social change. Established in 2019, it is recognized as one of the earliest electronic open-access scholarly journals and has played a pioneering role in making academic research freely available to readers worldwide. The journal publishes original research articles, theoretical contributions, review essays, and book reviews that examine long-term social, political, economic, and environmental processes operating at regional and global scales.
