The Journal of Web Librarianship (JWL) is an international, peer-reviewed journal, focused on all aspects of librarianship and information science as practised today in the online environment, and in the current connected digital information ecosystem. It explores existing and emerging roles of library and information professionals, interdisciplinary approaches, management of online library and information services, innovative collaborations, library software and applications, transformative developments and emerging and future trends in various related fields such as education, culture and creativity, healthcare, government and beyond. JWL invites information professionals/practitioners and researchers, working in all types of information environment roles, e.g. in administration/management/leadership, education, and technology to submit original scholarly research (e.g., research articles/literature reviews), practical communications (e.g., notes and case reports) and reviews (e.g., book and product reviews). The journal accepts evidence-based theoretical, methodological, empirical and technical papers; and best practice reports of up to 9,000 words in length.
