Journal of University Institute of Legal Studies is a bi-annual peer reviewed interdisciplinary journal, which has an ISSN 2229-3906, and is being published in print version only since 2007, by University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. Besides Law, we also welcome original articles for publication from different fields of Social Sciences like Economics, Commerce, Political Science, Sociology, History and Languages etc. The Journal has a wide reach and invites articles each year from scholars of eminent Universities, Colleges, various education/research centers and also from academicians from different fields/sections of society. We firmly believe in inviting manuscripts which are innovative and cater to new ideas of research as well as add to the existing state of knowledge. The aim of our journal is to provide a platform to academicians, researchers, legal practitioners etc. to explore different fields of law, society and economy with an inter-disciplinary approach. New milestones and breakthrough in research enrich as well as provide adequate platform for the development of our socio-legal system as exploration of various socio-economic problems paves the way to the legal remedies. We also have a dedicated separate section for "case comments" which offers the distinguished appraisals of recent judicial decisions.
