The Journal of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (JAANP) is a monthly scholarly, peer-reviewed journal for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and is the official journal for all members of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP); see www.aanp.org for more information. Formed in 1985, the AANP is the largest and only full-service professional membership organization in the United States for NPs of all specialties. JAANP supports the mission of AANP to lead NPs in transforming patient-centered health care with a vision of high quality health care for all by the patient's provider of choice.
