The Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association (J&AWMA) is one of the oldest continuously published, peer-reviewed, technical environmental journals in the world. First published in 1951 under the name Air Repair, J&AWMA is intended to serve those occupationally involved in air pollution control and waste management through the publication of timely and reliable information. Vision JA&WMA publishes a broad range of topics, consistent with the mission of the Air and Waste Management Association. JA&WMA publishes advances in science and technology that are relevant to making decisions for safeguarding human health and the environment with regards to air and waste management. Mission JA&WMA will be the leading technical communicator for applied and policy-relevant science and technology topics focused on protecting the environment and human health for air and waste management.
