Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation (JSCS)
Journal Descriptions
The Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation (JSCS) is a leading subscription-based peer-reviewed journal covering significant contributions or novelty approaches involving Computation or Simulation. “Computation” refers to Data Analysis, whereas “Simulation” refers to the statistical technique or procedure often called Monte Carlo Simulation. JSCS does not consider new distributions or extensions of existing distributions. JSCS does not consider the analysis of specific data sets, except as examples. JSCS may consider a novel approach to the analysis of a data type specific to an applied area, but not to a specific data set in that area, except as an illustrative example. In this case a significant improvement in the applied area must be demonstrated. An illustrative example, using a specific data set, would be helpful. To aid in choosing appropriate reviewers for the paper, please indicate with { } the primary technique or procedure used to determine significance or novelty and, if different, please indicate the area of that significance or novelty, just preceding your Abstract.
