The Journal of Spiritual Formation and Soul Care is a respected academic journal published twice annually with the primary aim of advancing scholarly discussion and practical insight into the disciplines of Christian spiritual formation and soul care. Launched in 2008, the journal provides a forum for rigorous, interdisciplinary research and reflective writing that draws from theology, biblical studies, psychology, history of spirituality, and pastoral practice. Editors seek contributions that deepen understanding of how Christians are spiritually shaped — intellectually, emotionally, and relationally — in ways that nurture maturity in Christ and sustained practices of care for the human soul.
