Journal of Social Inclusion Studies (JSIS)

The Journal of Social Inclusion Studies is a well-established, peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by SAGE Publications in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Dalit Studies (IIDS). Since its launch in 2014, the journal has served as a critical forum for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to explore the nature and consequences of social exclusion and to examine policies and practices aimed at promoting social inclusion, equality, and equity in diverse contexts. The journal prioritizes research that advances understanding of exclusionary processes — whether on the basis of caste, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, or other social identities — and encourages solutions rooted in evidence and inclusive policy design.
