The Journal of Real Estate Literature (JREL), a publication of the American Real Estate Society (ARES), is dedicated to advancing real estate research and knowledge in three primary areas. These include 1) General Real Estate topics that involve high-quality, innovative, and methodologically sound studies; 2) Data, Methods, and Technology where guidance is providing on locating and utilizing data sources for real estate research, methodologies that are sufficiently novel to benefit a broad audience are explained, and cutting-edge technological advancements are highlighted to ensure readers stay informed of the latest developments; and 3) Review Articles that comprehensively assess past research by identifying key insights and proposing directions for future research. International authors are strongly encouraged to submit articles within these categories that meet rigorous standards of assessment and contribute research findings applicable to broader markets.
