The Journal of Public Interest Communications (JPIC) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to the emerging field of public interest communication. Established in 2019, the journal is published by the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida, United States. It provides a scholarly platform for researchers, educators, communication professionals, and practitioners interested in using communication to address social issues and promote public good.JPIC focuses on research and practice related to strategic communication for social change, advocacy, public engagement, activism, and community development.
