The Journal of Pierre Fauchard Academy is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to excellence in evidence-based clinical practice and oral health research. The Journal is open-access and endeavours to solicit scholarly articles that enhance the scientific basis of care and foster innovation. It serves as a platform for the dissemination of the latest research in the field of Dentistry, allied Oral Health and Craniofacial Surgery. It is an official journal Pierre Fauchard Academy, India Section, named after scholar Pierre Fauchard of France, recognised as the “Father of Modern Dentistry”. The Pierre Fauchard Academy is an honorary dental service organisation that was founded by Dr. Elmer S. Best, a Minnesota dentist, in 1936 to help the profession gain control of its literature and assure its independence from commercial interests. The Journal of Pierre Fauchard Academy is an open-access journal that quarterly publishes peer-reviewed scientific papers covering a broad range of topics of dental science, including but not limited to: oral and periodontal diseases, craniofacial anomalies, material science, procedural and surgical techniques as implantology, orthodontics, and palliative and prosthetic rehabilitation, public oral health, digital dentistry, latest developments and evidence-based practices in all areas of dentistry.
