The Journal of Micromechanics and Molecular Physics (JMMP) provides an international academic forum to disseminate fundamental research and developments in the nanomechanics and micromechanics of materials and with regard to molecular physics. JMMP focuses on theoretical developments, experimental innovations, and computational and simulation methods in the fields of micromechanics and molecular physics, and the discovery of nanoscale and nanostructured materials, composite materials, and novel advanced materials, with emphasis on the mechanics and physics of microstructures, characterization and modeling, material design, processing and manufacturing, and the interrelation and correlation between the micro-/nanostructures of materials and their macroscale functions.
