The Journal of Lusophone Studies (JLS) is an international peer-reviewed open access journal and the official publication of the American Portuguese Studies Association (APSA). Established in 2016, the journal is dedicated to promoting scholarship on the languages, literatures, cultures, and societies of the Portuguese-speaking world. JLS provides a forum for interdisciplinary research concerning Portugal, Brazil, Lusophone Africa, East Timor, and Portuguese-speaking diasporic communities across the globe. The journal publishes original research articles, essays, interviews, translations, book reviews, and special thematic dossiers that contribute to the advancement of Lusophone studies.
