The Journal of Information and Telecommunication (JIT) is an open access peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research on all aspects of telecommunications, information technology, media technologies and media communications. JIT represents the process of the convergence of the fields of telecommunications, digital broadcasting and information technology. The journal focuses on the field of infocommunication as a natural expansion of telecommunication, with information processing and content handling functions which include all types of electronic communications. In particular, the journalaims to address infocommunication issues which are unique to developing nations. For example, research topics on smart telecommunication systems for developing countries, applications for processing Asian languages in telecommunication systems etc., are encouraged.
