The Journal of Global Communication (JGC) is a refereed journal for the publication of scholarly work in the field of communication for development (including extension education), educational communication, journalism, new media issues, communication theory, heritage and communication and intercultural communication among others. Its major objective is to publish scholarly work of media and communication researchers in areas which are underrepresented in internationally published scholarship and international research organization. As an interdisciplinary journal, JGC encourages contributions in relevant areas from all over the world. It is published half yearly, June and December. Journal of Global Communication (JGC) is a refereed journal for the publication of scholarly work in the field of media and communication. Editorial management of JGC is by the Global Communication Research Association and it is published by Indian Journals. JGC particularly welcomes scholarly work of researchers in areas that are underrepresented in internationally published scholarship and international research organisations. As an interdisciplinary and global journal, Journal of Global Communication encourages contributions in relevant areas from all over the world. Qualified students’ contributions are also welcome. The type of articles JGC public include research articles, review articles and book reviews.
