Journal of Entrepreneurship and Public Policy (JEPP)
Journal Descriptions
Journal of Entrepreneurship and Public Policy was created to encourage and disseminate quality research about how entrepreneurship and enterprise development are often the channels by which public policies affect economic outcomes, and by which outcomes feed back to the policy process. The Journal of Entrepreneurship and Public Policy (JEPP) is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality research exploring and examining the dynamic interplay between entrepreneurship, enterprise development, and public policy. The journal emphasizes how entrepreneurship serves as a conduit through which public policies can impact economic, social, and sustainable outcomes, while also highlighting how these outcomes, in turn, inform and shape the policymaking process. JEPP welcomes contributions that investigate diverse forms of entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on social, digital, and sustainable entrepreneurship, alongside emerging research on social innovation. The journal is particularly interested in interdisciplinary research that addresses the transformational aspects of entrepreneurship—specifically how entrepreneurial activity can drive sustainable, bottom-up development, foster effective leadership, and inspire innovative solutions to complex societal challenges. Furthermore, JEPP emphasizes the role of entrepreneurship in public administration reform, particularly through the lens of institutional, administrative, and public entrepreneurship.
