Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Emerging Economies (JEIEE)
Journal Descriptions
The Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Emerging Economies (JEIEE) is an international, bi‑annual peer‑reviewed academic journal published by SAGE Publications in collaboration with the International Entrepreneurship Forum. Launched around 2015, JEIEE offers a dedicated scholarly forum for high‑quality research that examines the complex interplay between entrepreneurial activity, innovation, and economic development in emerging economies around the world. The journal publishes original research articles, conceptual studies, empirical analyses, and case studies that address key topics such as business model innovation, social and community enterprise, sustainable and inclusive business development, financial engineering, institutional evolution, public policy, rural and urban growth dynamics, and emerging technologies shaping entrepreneurial behaviour. As a multidisciplinary outlet, JEIEE draws on perspectives from business management, economics, sociology, anthropology, engineering, and technology studies to build comprehensive insights into how entrepreneurial strategies and innovative processes contribute to economic transformation. The journal promotes research that blends theoretical rigor with practical relevance, fostering critical knowledge exchange among academics, policymakers, and practitioners engaged in entrepreneurship and innovation within emerging markets. Its membership in the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) underscores its commitment to ethical and rigorous scholarship in the field.
