Journal of Composites for Construction (JCC)
Journal Descriptions
The Journal of Composites for Construction is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to advances in the use of composite materials in civil infrastructure and construction. It publishes original research papers, review articles, and case studies that span the spectrum from fundamental mechanics and manufacturing science of composite materials to practical design, analysis, and implementation in large civil-engineering structural systems. Special emphasis is placed on work that bridges the gap between material science and engineering practice, such as studies on fiber-reinforced polymers (FRP) and other composites used as structural shapes, reinforcement, or hybrid systems with traditional materials like concrete, masonry, metals, and timber. The journal also addresses issues that affect performance under real infrastructure conditions — such as loadings, environmental exposure, durability, and service performance — and covers both new construction and repair/rehabilitation of existing structures.
