In view of increasing world-wide interest in the cross-cultural perspectives of the study of the family, the Journal of Comparative Family Studies makes a significant contribution in cross-cultural research. The Journal caters to scholars who are concerned with national, as well as international comparative family studies. The Publishers hope that the very existence of the JCFS will be an incentive to scholars who are concerned with cross-cultural research, in stimulating their interest, to publish their results. JCFS is edited at and owned by Trinity Western University, and published four times a year by the University of Toronto Press. All rights reserved.
