Journal of Comparative and Physiological Psychology (JCPP)

Journal of Comparative and Physiological Psychology was a peer reviewed scientific journal published by the American Psychological Association from 1947 to 1982. The journal emerged as the continuation of the earlier Journal of Comparative Psychology and became one of the leading publications in the fields of comparative psychology and behavioral neuroscience. It provided a platform for experimental studies exploring the relationships between physiology, behavior, learning, cognition, and animal psychology. The journal published influential research involving animal behavior, conditioning, neurophysiology, sensory processes, motivation, and experimental analysis of behavior. It played a major role in advancing scientific understanding of how physiological systems influence psychological processes.
