Childhood obesity is a serious medical condition that occurs when a children is above normal weight for his age and height. Main cause for childhood obesity includes irregular eating habits, lack of physical activities, etc. There are several associated effects also like cholesterol problem, blood pressure, diabetes, etc. The Journal of Childhood Obesity deals with all fields of treating childhood obesity involving child nutrition, pediatrics obesity, skinfold thickness, insulin resistance, physical education, weight management, food choice, hypothyroidism, diabetes mellitus, fasting blood glucose, energy balance, etc. Journal of Childhood Obesity is an international journal devoted for rapid dissemination of significant data related to childhood obesity. The journal is an interdisciplinary medium serving several branches of life sciences. Journal of Childhood Obesity publishes original research articles, review articles, short communications, case reports, conference proceedings, opinion articles, editorials, mini reviews, clinical/medical images etc. Full length reviews are only published after invitation from the editorial board. The basic interest of the journal is publishing new data related to the causes, cure, effects and treatment of childhood obesity. Preliminary studies are in appropriate for publishing in Journal of Childhood Obesity, unless the authors report the significance of their findings, in that case, the manuscript can be accepted. Journal of Childhood Obesity is interested in (but not limited to) all aspects related to causes, cure, effects and treatment of childhood obesity : • Advancing clinical understanding of science in childhood obesity. • Increasing the mutual understanding between scientists and policymakers. • Building a bridge between professionals and overweight children as well as their relatives. • Supporting the scientific investigation of including psychological based treatment into clinical practice.
