Journal of Ceramics (JC)

Journal of Ceramics (JC, 陶瓷学报, TaoCi XueBao), founded in 1980 as a comprehensive professional academic journal of ceramics, is sponsored by Jingdezhen Ceramic University. It is currently published bimonthly. Journal of Ceramics is now included in Comprehensive List of Chinese Core Journals in the Peking University Library, Source Journal for Chinese Science and Technology Papers and Citations, Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), Ulrich's Periodicals Directory (Ulrichsweb), Japan Science and Technology Agency Database (JST) , Scopus etc. Focusing on both academics and application of ceramic materials, it is aimed to publish research progresses, industrialization status, original experimental technologies and the latest theoretical achievements related to ceramic materials. The areas of interest include but not limited to the following three categories: (1) Traditional ceramics, including household ceramics, architectural and sanitary ceramics, ancient ceramics, ceramic machinery, ceramic kilns, ceramic standards and testing, ceramic technology and preparation, etc; (2) Functional ceramics, including ferroelectric, piezoelectric, dielectric, thermoelectric or conductive ceramics, high-strength ceramics, transparent ceramics, porous ceramics, biomedical ceramics, catalytic degradation materials, ceramic inks, nuclear ceramics, ceramic films and coatings, etc; (3) Glasses and other non-metallic inorganic materials, including tempered glasses, super strong glasses, glass-ceramics, luminous glasses, conductive glasses, discolored glasses, thermal insulation glasses, glass fibers, etc.
