The Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine (JCM) publishes peer-reviewed articles on all aspects of cardiovascular disease, including original clinical studies, experimental investigations with clear clinical relevance, review papers, clinical guidelines and position papers, editorials, perspective articles, images in cardiovascular medicine, letters and research letters to editor. Case reports will not be considered for publication. Submitted articles undergo a preliminary review by the editor. Some articles may be returned to authors without further consideration. Those being considered for publication will undergo further assessment and peer-review by the editors and those invited to do so from a reviewer pool.
