Journal of Business and Socio-economic Development is an academic, open access, peer-reviewed journal focused on diffusion of articles on all aspects of Business and socio-economic development. Published by Emerald on behalf of Ahlia University and University of Business and Technology. The Journal of Business and Socio-economic Development publishes peer-reviewed research that highlights business problems faced by modern-day institutions and provides practical and sustainable solutions to improve them. The journal aims to prescribe and improve business theories and practices and to encourage scientific research into sustainable governance and business ethics. Development and sustainability are at the heart of the journal’s mission. We are proud to showcase research from across the world in order to foster these shared principles, and in our short history have welcomed high-quality contributions from Africa, Asia and Europe. For JBSED, development and sustainability are our focus, no matter the region. Therefore, contributions which pertain to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 4, 5, 9, 17 and especially SDG 8 “Decent work and Economic Growth” and SDG 16 “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”, are encouraged.
