Journal of Buddhist Philosophy (JBP)

The Journal of Buddhist Philosophy publishes high-quality original articles and book reviews addressing all areas of Buddhist philosophy. We publish articles and review books on South and Central Asian Buddhist philosophy, East Asian Buddhist philosophy, Southeast Asian Buddhist philosophy, and Buddhist philosophy originating outside of Asia. We address classical and modern Buddhist philosophy, and we are interested both in the history of Buddhist philosophy and in philosophical problems raised by the Buddhist tradition and their relation to questions of contemporary concern. The Journal of Buddhist Philosophy is committed to diversity and inclusion, and we work to ensure that the topics addressed in our journal are relevant to as many communities as possible, and we actively recruit submissions from members of groups under-represented in academic publishing. We publish guest-edited special-topic issues as well as issues publishing unsolicited papers.
