Journal of Biologically Active Products from Nature (JBAPN) is a multidisciplinary, peer reviewed international journal devoted to the dissemination of current developments and trends in the area of natural products derived from terrestrial and oceanic plants and animals and microorganisms conferring biological activities through the publication of original research articles, short communications, and review papers. The Journal covers a broad scope including the extraction, isolation, characterization, structure elucidation and structure-activity relationship, synthesis and transformation (including biosynthesis and biotransformation) of bioactive natural products; pharmacognosy, pharmacology and toxicology (e.g. action of natural products on the structure or function in human and/or animal, cells/tissues/genes, in vitro and in vivo screening of biological and pharmacological effects); development and bioassay screening of formulations; development of methods for standardization of bioactive extract on the basis of active constituents, development of methods for standardization of natural products and recovery of bioactive molecules; docking, molecular modeling, QSAR, SAR, and computational studies of bioactive interactions.
