Applied Chemistry manuscripts should be restricted to corrosion of materials, environmental chemistry and water quality (pollution studies), physico-chemical properties of naturally occurring products, colloid chemistry, nutritional chemistry and metallurgy. Articles must be original and written in English. The Journal of Applied Chemistry and Agricultural Research (JACAR) provides a multidisciplinary platform for researchers to publish original studies related to agricultural chemistry, food science, and soil management. The journal has historically highlighted research relevant to the West African region, specifically Nigeria, covering topics such as the nutritional value of tropical legumes, the effects of fertilizers on crop oils, and the physical properties of local soil and food products.
