The Journal for Vascular Ultrasound (JVU) is the official quarterly journal of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound. It publishes peer-reviewed research and clinical content aimed at vascular technologists, sonographers, clinicians, surgeons, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals engaged in noninvasive vascular diagnostics and imaging. Established in the early 2000s, JVU provides a respected platform for original scientific articles, clinical research studies, review articles, case reports, and technical reviews on topics such as ultrasound interpretation criteria, clinical applications of noninvasive techniques, practice guidelines for vascular laboratories, physical principles of ultrasound instrumentation, education and credentialing, and laboratory administration. Many articles include Continuing Medical Education (CME) test components to help practitioners earn CME credits. As a quarterly publication distributed internationally and indexed in major databases—including Scopus and Medline/PubMed—JVU supports evidence-based clinical practice and ongoing professional education in vascular ultrasound.
