The vision of the journal is to promote improved patient care, research, and education in primary care, general internal medicine, and hospital medicine. JOJ Internal Medicine acknowledge the areas like Clinical Trials, Antibiotic Resistance, Adverse Drug Events Reporting, Menopause, Obesity and Weight Management, Rare Diseases, Palliative Care, Immunization, Substance Abuse and Addiction, Hypertension, Health Diversity, Transplant hepatology, Interventional cardiology, Adolescent medicine. The Journal publishes original scientific articles, editorials, case reports, short communications and other information relevant to internal medicine and related fields. JOJ Internal Medicine also plays a major role in continuing medical education through review articles relevant to physician education. We welcome both human and experimental animal studies as are new findings on the epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. The scope of the journal includes cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, nephrology, infectious diseases, hematology, immunology, geriatrics, and emergency medicine. It also covers emerging topics such as clinical trials, chronic disease management, antimicrobial resistance, obesity, hypertension, rare diseases, and palliative care. Research on preventive medicine, health systems, and patient-centered care is also included. JOJ Internal Medicine publishes original research articles, review papers, case reports, clinical studies, short communications, and editorials. It emphasizes evidence-based medicine and encourages interdisciplinary approaches to improve patient outcomes. Since its establishment in the late 2010s, the journal has aimed to provide rapid dissemination of medical knowledge through an open-access model, allowing free global access to published content.
