Issues in Language Instruction is a peer-reviewed journal for and by university instructors of English to speakers of additional languages (EAL). The mission of the journal is to explore innovation in English language instruction and make explicit the tacit knowledge of language pedagogy that English teachers accumulate over the years from classroom experience. ILI welcomes all kinds of submissions related to the practice, interpretation, and advancement of our profession including: Conference Presentations Action research White Papers Self-reflections on instruction Reviews of books, articles, presentations, and workshops Educational technology English for academic purposes, English for professional purposes, and Interdepartmental projects Advances in curriculum design and ideas for new courses and programs Academic advising and cultural adjustment Program administration Short-term programs
