Journal Descriptions

Iranian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IJPS) is an open access, internationally peer-reviewed journal that seeks to publish research articles in different pharmaceutical sciences subdivisions: pharmacology and toxicology, nanotechnology, pharmaceutics, natural products, biotechnology, pharmaceutical chemistry, clinical pharmacy and other pharmacy related topics. IJPS is the official journal of Iranian Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and was first published in winter 2005. For 7 years, the journal’s headquarter was in Shiraz University of medical Sciences with the privilege of having Professor Hossein Niknahad as the journal’s editor in chief. The association decided to move IJPS’s HQ to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in November 2012. In 2023 the Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Center at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences has officially assigned as the publisher of IJPS based on a contract between this center and the Iranian Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.
