IRAS is an international peer-reviewed journal of comparative public administration, devoted to academic and professional public administration. Founded in 1927 it is the oldest scholarly public administration journal specifically focused on comparative and international topics. Quarterly journal of comparative public administration, published in English, French and Mandarin Chinese. Publishes original contributions on a wide range of topics related to public administration and public policy. Among the most frequently covered themes: the organization and management of national public services and international organizations, the organization and management of central, regional and local governments and their relations, management of the various resources of public action, in particular human, financial and information resources, administrative reforms, public finance, theories, philosophies and history of administration.
