International Multilingual Research Journal (IMRJ)
Journal Descriptions
The International Multilingual Research Journal (IMRJ) invites scholarly contributions from a broad range of disciplinary perspectives to illuminate bi-/multilingualism in relation to the education of minoritized children and adolescents around the world. IMRJ is committed to promoting equity, access, and social justice in education, and to offering accessible research and policy analyses to better inform scholars, educators, students, and policymakers. IMRJ is particularly interested in scholarship that offers insights from linguistics, applied linguistics, education, sociolinguistics, globalization and immigration studies, cultural psychology, linguistic and psychological anthropology, literacy studies, and critical race theory. It seeks theoretical and empirical scholarship with implications for research, policy, and practice in educational contexts. Submissions of research articles based on quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods are encouraged. Because of the international focus of the journal, the implications and significance of results should relate to contexts beyond the very local. IMRJ does not publish book reviews.
