International Materials Reviews publishes peer-reviewed critical assessments of the literature on all aspects of materials science and engineering. Its aim is to provide timely, authoritative introductions to current thinking, developments and research in carefully selected topics. Leading edge reviews provide a concise overview of rapidly developing areas of the discipline, while maintaining the journal's high standard of rigour and critical assessment. Most reviews are invited by the Editors but proposals for reviews are welcomed. International Materials Review publishes critical reviews in materials science and engineering, including structural ceramic, composite materials and electronic materials industries.
