International Journal of Nanomedicine (IJN)
Journal Descriptions
The International Journal of Nanomedicine is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing cutting-edge research on the application of nanotechnology in the biomedical field/healthcare, where the societal need is immense. Given the rapidly advancing area of science, the journal aims to disseminate high-quality, original research that explores the potential clinical impact of nanoscale systems in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases. Some examples of topics that will be of considerable interest to the journal within the nanomedicine field are: Nanodrug Delivery and Biosensors : Innovative approaches to targeted drug delivery systems and controlled release of therapeutics utilizing nanomaterials. Regenerative Nanomedicine : Nanotechnology’s role in enhancing tissue repair and regeneration, including applications in stem cell therapies and wound healing. Nanodiagnostics : Development of nanoscale diagnostic tools and techniques for early disease detection and monitoring. Nanoinformatics : The integration of data science with nanotechnology, including computational models and informatics approaches for predicting nanomaterial behavior and interactions. Nanotoxicity : Investigations into the safety and potential risks of nanoparticles in biological systems, evaluating their biocompatibility and long-term effects. Nanoenegineered biomedical devices : Nanostructured or nanotextured implants with bioactive surfaces. Topics of preferred interest to the journal are processing, property and performance evaluation, and clinical application of nanoscale structures and devices that include particles, probes, vesicles, films, and sensors in the treatment of human health and point-of-care diagnostics in medical applications.
