International Journal of Manpower (IJM)
Journal Descriptions
The International Journal of Manpower (IJM) is a full refereed, double-blind interdisciplinary journal, concerned with the utilization, management and planning of human resources and the economics of labour markets, and labour economics, from a corporate, local, national and international perspective. The IJM focuses on strong empirical/analytical quantitative research, though occasionally qualitative studies of very high quality may also be considered. The Journal no longer entertains papers employing Fuzzy type methodologies, bibliometric and literature reviews, or purely conceptual papers. The field of human resource planning and labour economics is a complex one, influenced by the many social, technological and economic changes evident in the world today. The journal is an invaluable support to academics and researchers in the field, and to all those charged with setting policies and strategies relating to workforce issues.
