Faculty of Engineering, University of Debrecen launched a new journal in 2016, titled “International Journal of Engineering and Management Sciences” (IJEMS) in English and “Műszaki és Menedzsment Tudományi Közlemények” in Hungarian, as a successor to the former “Debreceni Műszaki Közlemények”. IJEMS is an independent, peer-reviewed, open access, quarterly published online journal, covering the topics of engineering, economics and management sciences. The aim of the journal is to publish – in English or in Hungarian – the latest studies and research results of professors, lecturers, students and academic and industrial partners of the faculty. The journal accepts articles from the following disciplines: Applied Mathetmatics and Engineering Education; Civil Engineering; Economics; Econometrics and Finance; Environmental Engineering; Management Sciences; Materials Sciences; Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering; Sport Economics. The Journal publishes 4 issues yearly. All articles are archived in the university repository: University of Debrecen Electronic Archive. The IJEMS does not charge authors any article processing charges (APCs), submission, or publication fees. IJEMS is a fully open access journal. All articles are made available online to all users immediately after publication. Use and distribution in any forum is allowed, provided that the author and the journal are properly credited. We use Turnitin for plagiarism checking and in ethical issues the COPE guidelines are followed. For further information see: Publication Ethics Each paper is evaluated in a double blind, peer review process, with at least two reviewers for a paper. Authors can expect an average of 11 weeks from submission to publication if their manuscript is accepted after peer review (with revisions if necessary).
