International Journal of Cross Cultural Management (IJCCM)
Journal Descriptions
The International Journal of Cross Cultural Management (IJCCM) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by SAGE Publications that serves as a leading forum for research on cross-cultural issues in management, organizations and work. Founded in 2001, it seeks to advance theoretical and empirical knowledge at the intersection of culture and management, addressing how cultural values, beliefs, norms and practices shape managerial behaviour and organizational outcomes across global settings. IJCCM publishes high-quality articles that employ diverse methodologies — quantitative, qualitative and mixed approaches — and that challenge conventional western-centric management paradigms by incorporating indigenous, non-western and alternative cultural perspectives. This journal covers topics including cross-cultural communication, leadership, human resource management, negotiation, organizational change, multicultural teams, diversity and inclusion, expatriate management and international business strategy with a cultural lens. Its mission is to foster critical dialogue among researchers and practitioners on both foundational and emerging issues in cross-cultural management, thus bridging scholarly inquiry with practical implications. With a rigorous double-blind review process, IJCCM upholds academic excellence and relevance for a global audience of scholars, students, policymakers and organisational leaders interested in the cultural dimensions of management and work.
