International Journal of Computational Geometry & Applications (IJCGA)

The International Journal of Computational Geometry & Applications (IJCGA) is a quarterly journal devoted to the fields of computational geometry and computational topology. It publishes original research that emphasizes the computational and topological aspects of geometric problems arising in various fields of science and engineering including computer-aided geometric design (CAGD), computer graphics, constructive solid geometry (CSG), databases, data analytics, machine learning, computer vision, medical imaging, operations research, pattern recognition, robotics, autonomous vehicles and intelligent transportation systems, social networks, solid modeling, VLSI routing/layout, wireless sensor networks, and others. The journal has a theory track and an application track, with the former focusing on results within the framework of design and analysis of algorithms and the latter targeting at findings obtained from the applications of geometric and topological techniques to practical problems. Research contributions ranging from theoretical results in algorithm design — sequential or parallel, probabilistic or randomized algorithms — to applications in the above-mentioned areas are welcome. Research findings or experimental results and experiences in the implementations of geometric algorithms, such as numerical stability, and papers with geometric or topological flavor related to algorithms or application areas of computational geometry and computational topology are also welcome.
